Quality approved by top resin manufacturers
The Inkspire 2 is compatible with many advanced engineering resins, including those previously available only for DLP 3D printers. Zortrax is working with brands like Henkel/Loctite and BASF Forward AM to ensure properties of parts printed with their best-performing resins match or exceed values specified by the manufacturer. This conformity is guaranteed by a thorough, two-stage validation process, where 3D printed models were first tested in-house by Zortrax and then, independently, by the resin manufacturers who made the test prints on pre-production Inkspire 2 units sent to their laboratories. Test samples were post-processed using Zortrax Cleaning Station and Zortrax Curing Station which means the validation extends to the entire Zortrax resin 3D printing ecosystem.
What Makes the Inkspire 2 Special
HEPA filters: Protect your health and enjoy peace of mind with active reduction of harmful fumes.
Resin pump: Integrated resin pump performs convenient resin loading and active resin level management.
Proprietary light engine: Inkspire 2’s light engine is 7x more powerful allowing for 4x build volume. While also achieving 40% more uniform light distribution.
Intuitive touch screen: Large and high quality touch screen provides streamlined experience for seamless printer operation.
Soft-closing top cover: Protects the machine and your floors by preventing spills during setup and cleaning.
Easily attached build platform: The easily removable platform comes pre-calibrated from the factory, making it ready for immediate use.
Wi-Fi: Streamline the 3D printing management process with Wi-Fi and Zortrax inCloud, all the tools necessary for convenient and efficient printer management.
Resin holder with a weight sensor: Inkspire 2’s will compare the weight of available material with vat measurements to determine if there is enough material for the current print.
Industrial-grade proprietary light engine
The light engine in the Inkspire 2 has been developed in-house from the ground up. Zortrax engineers designed an array of UV diodes backlighting a monochromatic screen to achieve uniform UV exposure of every single pixel on a large build platform while retaining utmost precision. Therefore, resin 3D models made on the Inkspire 2 have the same, outstanding quality, regardless of whether they are placed in the center or towards the edges of the build platform. Finally, this new light engine is seven times more powerful than a standard UV LCD screen, which makes Zortrax Inkspire 2 compatible with chosen DLP resins.

Clever Automation
The Inkspire 2 makes the entire resin 3D printing process simple and clean through automation cleverly implemented in its key components. This makes working with photopolymer resins easier than ever.
Smart build platform
The build platform in Zortrax Inkspire 2 is designed to make tasks like removing resin 3D prints or getting rid of leftover resin easier. The platform is easily attachable and comes factory-calibrated to make the Inkspire 2 ready for work out of the box.
Intelligent hinge enables easy attachment and removal.
Factory-calibrated and available 3 step user calibration.
Fast and easy attachment to cleaning station.
Resin management system
The Inkspire 2 3D printer recognizes how much resin is available in the vat and identifies the amount needed to complete the printing process. There are three separate components working together to make this system work.
Resin vat sensors constantly monitor vat resin level.
Built-in resin weight sensor tracks available resin.
Resin is intelligently moved between bottle and resin vat.
Practical resin vat
The resin vat in the Inkspire 2 is made to solve real issues users have with operating resin 3D printers. It can be easily installed and detached. Curved corners make it easier to clean. An automatic wiper deals with sedimentation in more advanced resins. It is a simple design that works.
Easily accessible vat locks vat into place.
The transfer pump makes unloading and swapping resins more efficient.
Automatic wiper prevents sedimentation during long prints.
Software
Z-SUITE is a slicing software that comes free with every Zortrax 3D printer. It is made to prepare digital models for 3D printing to achieve the best possible quality of printed parts in the shortest time.

Zortrax inCloud
The Inkspire 2 has Wi-Fi connectivity which makes it compatible with Zortrax inCloud, a cloud-based 3D printing management service.
Connect
All Zortrax 3D printers with network connectivity can be accessed via Zortrax inCloud from literally anywhere in the world.
Manage
Zortrax inCloud has built-in staff management functionalities. Added users can be organized into teams with assigned 3D printers.
Check
The status of all teams and 3D printers can be checked through Zortrax inCloud in real time. Stored data includes assigned projects, working hours and used materials.
Full control
Zortrax inCloud enables real-time, remote management capability over all available Zortrax 3D printers and workforce. Prints can be uploaded, started, and paused on each machine connected to the inCloud account.
Printing farm management
3D printing farms are clusters of 3D printers used typically for medium to large scale production. With Zortrax inCloud it is possible to organize 3D printing equipment and human resources into teams responsible for different 3D printing projects.
No failed 3D prints caused by blackouts
Zortrax Inkspire 2 has the same, tried and true, blackout response system that works in Zortrax M Series Plus 3D printers. At all times, the machines store enough energy to save the printing progress whenever a power outage occurs. Once the power is back on, 3D printing can be resumed from the same spot. No more failed prints, no more time lost, no more resin wasted.
Advanced post-processing ecosystem
Most professional resins require post-processing to achieve manufacturer’s declared properties after the printing is done. Therefore, Zortrax has introduced Zortrax Cleaning Station and Zortrax Curing Station: two automatic post-processing devices that complement the Inkspire 2 UV LCD 3D printer in an advanced ecosystem. The purpose of Zortrax Cleaning Station is to remove uncured resin from the surfaces of models while Zortrax Curing Station provides UV curing to materials that need it.
Step 1 Printing
All Zortrax 3D printers with network connectivity can be accessed via Zortrax inCloud from literally anywhere in the world.
Step 2 Cleaning
Leftover resin is cleaned off the model’s surfaces in the Zortrax Cleaning Station.
Step 3 Curing
Cleaned model is UV-cured in the Zortrax Curing Station.
Zortrax Cleaning Station
Zortrax Cleaning Station is a post-processing device removing excessive, unsolidified resin from the surfaces of models made on all types of photopolymer 3D printers. Cleaning should be done before UV curing and is necessary to preserve the model’s dimensional accuracy.
Zortrax Curing Station
Zortrax Curing Station is a post-processing device providing additional UV curing of parts made in all resin 3D printing technologies. This additional curing is necessary for most resins to achieve their target mechanical properties.
